How we got here
Dos Avocados Media started the way most good things do — by accident. Dan got sick with COVID — very, very sick. And when he recovered, Jossy urged him to take a leap and follow his dream.
We discovered we shared the same instinct: the seeds of stories are everywhere, you just have to nurture them. So we built a studio around that.
We work out of Durham, but the Triangle is small and the highways are good. We’re regularly in Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Charlotte, Asheville, and Wilmington and all sorts of other places in and around North Carolina.
What we believe
Story first, camera second.
If we don’t understand it, we’re not capturing it yet.
